The nursing unit will be able to offer full range of palliative and terminal care services.

The new building will be erected next to the school building; a corridor will then connect both of the houses. Capacity of the new building will be 8 families.

In 2004, we chose a project that seems to suit our needs best: it's author, young architect Vít Polák, came up with a sophisticated and well structured design that overshadowed the other six projects participating in the competition.

Construction costs of the nursing unit were originally (in 2004) estimated at 40 mils CZK, currently (2013) - according to official construction budget tables - reach almost 100 mils CZK. We are, however, convinced that real construction costs may eventually be much lower. Prospective running costs of the hospice were to be covered by Energeia, o.p.s., a public benefit company, which, at the moment, doesn't keep its promises and meet its obligations defined in our mutual contract.
